The Sea Harrier, designed for the British Royal Navy, an evolution of the Harrier fighter-bomber was designed for the RAF which entered service in the 70s. It is the first device with vertical takeoff and landing capability, it can even be used in places where there is little room to maneuver. The Wessex is a British evolution of the helicopter H-34 that has been developed in the United States. It is developed for the Royal Navy and used from the late fifties as modern anti-submarine helicopter. In the following years darrop models were developed for other transport and support actions.
