This jigsaw puzzle of 1,000 pieces shows the so-called big five.
The big five is a reference to the five species in Africa that were considered by hunters to shoot the hardest: buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino and elephant (see: large herbivores). The term big 5 stores, in this context, although it generally thought, not the largest, or most dangerous animal. The hippopotamus example, is larger than the lion and is considered more dangerous than the buffalo. Today the term in this context, much used by tourists (and the tourist industry) in Africa in search of the five on safari.
