The OH-58D is the military version of the Bell 206 Jet Ranger. The first aircraft were already delivered to the US Army in 1969. Numerous improvements led to the OH-58D version that shipped in 1985. The helicopter was given a four-bladed rotor, a more powerful engine and the latest navigation and communication equipment, which stands out for the ball on top of the rotor hub.
