Arthur Japin (1956) was an actor and as a writer broke through to the general public with the novel "The black with white heart", which was translated worldwide and brought him international fame. His third novel, "A brilliant defect" was awarded the Libris Literature Prize and took hundreds of thousands of readers. In 2006 wrote the Japin Cloisonne. His novel "The Surrender" appeared in nearly 200,000 copies and received the NS Public Prize.
Nanne Meulendijks independent artist and as an illustrator in a short time reached the summit of the Netherlands. Meulendijks work is in the national newspapers NRC Handelsblad and NRC Next, AD, Trouw and De Volkskrant. She also works for children Lannoo.
