Marion Bloem (1952) is a Dutch writer, visual artist and filmmaker. She broke through to the general public with her literary debut 'No ordinary Indian girl. Flower made several short films. The 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' Cinekid received the award and several nominations. Her documentary "The land of my parents' months was on the top ten list of movies. Flower made television programs including "Screen Test" and, together with her husband Ivan Wolffers (screenplay) she directed for the VPRO 'course for beginners in love. " In 2007 Flower began production of its first feature film 'Far from family, "based on her novel. She exhibits her paintings regularly in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2011 her novel 'More than masculine.
